Swift might be a good option.

But not sure how they compare price wise.

the tib is a decent piece of automobile. has a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter inline 4 from the 2001 sonata, mated to a four forward tiptronic box. haven't heard of any manual tibs in SL so far. packs a decent punch, but as with naturally aspirated cars of that displacement, the "punch" weans off as the revs pass 4-6k. would love to drive one with a turbocharger... that would be a sweet aftermarket upgrade.

not a great handler, tho. tons of understeer, as expected from a front wheel drive car with the engine over the front axle. don't expect it to take corners like a wrx or wag its tail like an rx. straight line point and squirts can be fun.

cut glass (frameless) doors are sexy, but check the rubber linings on the car you buy, cos water seepage from the glass gets into the dashboard, short-circuiting it. and rubber is a lot cheaper than hyundai meter clusters!

definitely a good looker. and IMHO serves primarily as a bird-puller than a driver's car. the ladies love it. i've seen them literally go nuts over it. one chick even wrote "i love your hundy coup - 077xxxxxxx, <name>" on it at hikka fest last year. and no, i assure you my friend who owns it would have called her if she could spell it properly. i mean, how hard can it be? all the badges are intact!!

spares are readily available in delkanda, and there are some specialist hyundai garages i can recommend who will do a professional job on whatever needs to be done.

rear seats are decent, but lacks headroom. be careful when closing the bootlid... you might crush your rear passengers' head. its quite low. there's more space for a 6-footer in the back of an rx8. honestly.

the seats, being racing buckets, are not the most comfortable. i've been in better ones, honestly. ergonomics are designed for 5-foot koreans!!

i dunno if you're interested in fuel efficiency, since both of these are performance vehicles, so i'll leave that out for the moment.

no idea about the swift sport, but personally, not a fan, cos i can't fit into one comfortably.

oh yeah, a good tib will be around 1.7 - 1.9 mil. the one i speak of was valued at 1.75, but my pal shafted out 1.9 for it.

Purely based on whats been said about the Swift Sport & having driven a slightly "tuned" Swift , i'd put my money with the Suzuki

no worries mate. but being a one who lovingly owns a civic ek and prays at it's altar every day, may i suggest the civic RTi EK5 advertised it the H*Tad last sunday? it is a very very rare car. a 4wd civic ek model. GW plates. and parts are readily interchangeable with the CRV/HRV, so you can't go wrong.
