i found this site http://www.gps-waypoints.net/gps/?page=download and was trying to import all the POIS and other stuff to current SL IMG file but i couldn't save it. It gaves me a error saying can't save streets ..... and idea ?

The company Technical Service person said this GPS unit not locked.most of maps works with this unit and come with IGO8 Maps(US & Canada) with SD card. He is very help full person. Can you please tell , if I buy this GPS unit, Can I upload Garmin Map? Please advise me.

I'm new to this subject and when i was going through the web knowledge regarding Sri Lanka i came across this blog.

You guys have done a lot and your work should really be appreciated! Thumb up guys!

Here comes my requirement;

I have a car navigator which was in built when I bought it - Japanese domestic product - ND3T-W57.

It has a seperate DVD trey to insert the map disk and when i searched in the intenet, i got to know that it is usually an 8GB dual layer DVD. Seems that we can download the firmware from the internet but I was thinking how could i get a propper map and incorporate it to a DVD!

I know this is really a vague description but have any of you come up with such a requrement and won? If any of you good people think you could help me at least advise how to proceed, that would be a great help!

Find the latst version of poi, then it will be fine , creat a folder on ur sd card POI and put the poi file to that then it will.

I'm having a issue with my GPS the 49$ gps give me a error saying Not found Application Please install it from SD/MMC, any body can help me on this matter, i'm not getting the GPS application to be loaded on the sreccn.

Dear friends,

I got Garmin XT working in my car in-dash dvd navi and everything seems to be working fine but everytime I try to search the cities, the application closes and cant re-open it! I am not sure whats the problem. Does renaming the .img files all in BLOCK CAPITALS important ? ( ie: GMAPBMAP.IMG ) ??

Then to restart the application I have to restart the setup itself.

Is this a problem with the unit or the software or the renaming I did ???

Please help me.

(or create a shortcut to desktop. this is the best way to run this application. If you go to Windows Explorer and open this app it'll run very slowly)

which code I need to save? am I need to make a notepad file?...Please explan to me.

I am try to install Garmin.exe file then the error message came, it says "Please chouse a serial port from the list or enter manualy one COMx"

I have uploaded a clone from a Sala ProSat Device which includes their highly updated SriLankan Maps along with the Navitel Software, Anyone who can make this work (Requires a Keygen + or a Crack to the Map files) Please Post it here, or anyone with coding experience please try to make this work.

Sala ProSat uses Navitel Navigation software, Which runs on almost all Windows CE devices, Chinese GPS units, Symbian, iOS and Android Platforms.

Making this work may lead to the point of getting read of slow, laggy and outdated Garmin Mobile XT.
