The 2011 MINI Countryman is out, and while the 2011 MINI Cooper family won't be getting any major mechanical overhauls this time around, it will be getting a minor facelift to look more like the newest member of the family. These leaked images purport to show exactly what to expect for the 2011 model year.

Our previous spy shots of the facelifted 2011 Cooper revealed just how minor the updates would be, with the primary changes coming to the revised headlights and redesigned rear LED tail lights and a slightly different front grille area treatment. Released via MotoringFile, the leaked images show the front three-quarters view and a detail of the tail lights. From the photos we can glean that the updates noticed in our spy shots are the extent of the exterior updates.

We still expect to see some minor updates to the interior not revealed in these shots, including better materials and new color or styling schemes.

In addition to the aesthetics, the 2011 Cooper line is expected to get a minor 2 horsepower bump courtesy of a reworked oil system that bases pressure on engine demand rather than straight engine speed. Improvements to steering feel, new exterior colors, and new wheel options are also on the docket.
