I can remember there was an E39 M5 that was brought down by the A*W owners, was totaled and later restored.

it was an E34 M5 i thought

supposedly belongs to a bloke off Thimbirigasyaya Rd currently

I should have dropped u a line and come and got it scanned! My first warning lights since ownership, so got a bit panicked. Mine is a DSC. Did switch off the DSC and really push the car over the weekend. Was a fantastic feeling especially when the turbo kicks in. Really enjoyed the fruits of a BMW 150hp engine

There was on for sale few weeks ago on H**tad. Not sure which week. It was in very good condition with original user manuals etc and 60,000 Km on the clock.Car was in Ratnapura if i recall correctly

Its still available, but the owner has swapped the engine for a toyota diesel sacrilege!

I think you're right. It was not an E39 as I mentioned before.

With almost twice the power @300bhp, I see my DSC flashing almost every time I turn into a cross street.

Nope, no complaints with 'ma woman!

Purring like a cat. Last week changed the rear hub bearings and the training arm bushing. No brainer actually. Small differential hum taken care of by changing the diff oil at PitStop. (Castrol 90, fcty recommended) and voila!

how much did the bushes and bearings cost?
