Doctor Sunny is the best for around that price.

Nissan Presia is a good rich car.But think twice about the parts and the maintenance cost and also the fuel consumption side.

Is the Nissan Presea a good car.

Hows it performance and fuel consumption.

Are spares expensive.

Anyone with experience with this car please do share your views.

I was about to say the mini sounds like an awesome idea, then remembered he said extra leg space. Now that Merc....

Mini, why don't you add this list to that pinned topic that Supra started? Cars between 5lk and 9lk?

Will find that topic n add for sure,

Mini seats can be taken more aft using an extending kit to seat brackets. So no issue for front seats but disaster for rear.

Im 5' 10n half".Never had leg space issues with any kind of a Mini model.

Nissan presea is a nice and good choice. there are several versions, if you buy the one with 1500cc engine, it will be same as the nissan sunny. Body parts are not so freely available. parts are not so expensive. It is a nice reliable car which is worth more than the money you spent.

If you dont mind going for a bit of a left field option: http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=19956

Its got the space, its got a pretty bombproof diesel that can be fixed by anyone and its gonna be comfy too. Cosmetically it looks pretty decent as well, Im sure that price can be knocked down by a decent amount.

And before anyone points it out, yes Im aware that it is old and that resale may be a less easy than say a corolla. :)

Presea and the doctor sunny share most of the same parts mechanically, only body parts may be a bit difficult but nowadays its getting tough to find even doctor sunny bits since the cars are ageing. Fuel consumption is not really very different to the sunny either, maybe 1 Km/l or so since the Preseas a bit heavier.

Dont knock a car (or anything else even for that matter) without knowing the full story. The safe option is not always the best option. :)

hey mchn wht do u mean by "rich" ?

Here "Rich" means, even though "Presea" values about 9 lacs, it has a look of about 25 lacs car. Compared to the FB14,15 and even N16 which are "Sunny", "Presea" is so so beautiful. Presea didnt famouse much as Sunny becouse of some reasons listed below,

1. Bit heavy. [but nice balanced good performance car :violent-smiley-030: ]

2. Frameless door glasses [sporty :angry-smiley-048: ]

Yes it's gud nice, sporty, powerful

fuel: <_< Around 9 in City

Spares: Mechanical parts match with FB14

Recommanded as Not a bad car for money u spend...

But if u r a daily traveller for long distanc, think twice about fuel economy.....
