Hi all, currently i have the A127-45 slternator date is 07 94. I guess it is a 45 amp alternator. is it enough? Im planing to put a 65 or 70 amp battery...

Does anyone know a reliable person to do wireing in a Mini?

Thanks

If you can source a A127/55,good.Try few Mini used parts dealers. Many higher and newer versions will not fit into Mk4 below models.55 and 65 versions are the new bracket type that will only fit the twin point injection cylinder head.

If your problem is low electrics,it might not be the alternator relate just check the earth strap on engine stabiliser bar . Ask your electrician to try an extra earth cable from transmission to subframe .

Not all higher capacity batteries fit in the Mini battery pit.Make sure you leave plenty of room between rear bulkhead wall and the positive terminal.
