I got used TOYOTA 121 (diesel) automatic recently & the milage is around 175000km. I would like to know about the changing of timing belt in this model. Is this type engines got a t belt or not? :jumping-smiley-013:

As far as i know, your car's powered by a 3C-E (E For EFI) type engine, so yes it's got a Timing belt. i think it's recommended to change it every 100,000 Km. (it should say on a label on Timing belt cover in Engine) if your gonna replace the timing belt, it's advisable to replace all the Idlers (Bearings that Belt holds on) and Oil seals as well. i think you better take your car to the agents and talk to their Service Advisor guys, cos they know better than us about changing intervals.
