that would be awesome machan! :D

the plan is to fly in on saturday night or Sunday morning in time for the morning runs and then fly out early monday morning after the race

But i most certainly will take you up on your offer if i'll be around long enough to require sleep :)

i hope you wouldn't mind the imposition in the form of a drop by to freshen up prior to the race? :)

No problem at all :)

So have you decided on what ticket you're gonna get? i'll most probably be going for the cheapest though for 2 reasons.

1- its the cheapest :D

2- general walkabout should be more on on eye-level with the cars as opposed to a pavilion, so pictures should be nicer :D

Thank you S_N, Dev_z, NuwanB4, Ash, arcAngel, GihanFX, Monamu, Mini, Madz Kim, ripper and Mivec.turbo :)

I decided to treat myself to a LATE birthday present in September by going to watch Singapore F1... I called them up today to ask about tickets.. the cheapest they have is S$168....and that too is just to stand on the roadside and watch it... and how do the phrase it "whenever you want you can go stand somewhere else and watch the race so that you can get a fresh perspective" talk about marketing :D

Any of you planning on coming this way to see it?

when i was in SG a guy at citroen SG said they expect the hotel rates to go really high, specially the one that has one side facing the track.

So good luck on that.

Machang is it possible to see the races from the road, I mean has there been any stadiums, stands that have come to obstruct the view from the road

its a street-race like monacco... so they dnt have a stadium per say.. just big pavilions they'll put of for the event...

So you CAN stand besides the track and watch the race.. that is what you have to pay S$168 for! :D
