which is advertised is a awesome ride..

BTW wots the use of buying such a car for normal day 2 day usage on the other hand..(whos gonna PUMP fuel??)

have seen some silver Z's/301- range i mean, arnt they looking better from outside than the blacky's??? i think silver looks more sexy :)

Kim ma man if u want unique Black is the colour to go with cuz this is the only Black one from wut i know :D

also the fuel isnt too bad...i get 5kmpl now on copper tip plugs - with the Double Platinum tip sparks which come as OEM fitment it will do 8kmpl in colombo as verified by 2 other Z drivers - not bad for a car which does 0-100kmph in under 7 seconds né

there are only 2 turbo cars in SL...dark purple one and the red one at kirullapone. the owner must have returned frm aussie and using it.

non turbo there are 5 by my count...

there's a 3rd Twin Turbo 2+2 !! its based out in negombo - its got a Stillen front grill an orginal Automatic gear box

its fairly distiguishable from all the others cuz of this slotted styling between the head lights and a massive very high Spoiler

car is Silver running on 18" s - n its also got the HICAS !! :)

I remember taking a test drive in a Green T.Top in good cond. which was also 300 or 301- regd

machan i heard that this Green ZX is missing now cuz it had crashed outside ODEL! - dunno exactly how long back, but could possibly have been condemed as a result of the collision..

can anyone verify?

To resurrect an ancient thread.

Was mighty surprised to hear from one of my sales guys (After he had clapped eyes on devindas car) that he had seen a 300ZX in Kurunegala! Was on CP plates as well.... anyone have info? of course can't entirely trust the man's car spotting ability, but I have heard tell of this before as well....

You can't keep track of cars that turn up in Kurunegala.... those coconut estates are breeding grounds for cut & buds and container buds...

i recall getting a call from some bloke in Kurunegala who was more interested in the "book" than the car about 2 years back...

heard from him that there is another car running about up there , but don't have any details about it - container car is the story i got...

sorry to go all blonde. but i seriously don't understand this book nonsense. i mean for rare cars like this wouldnt it be easier if we just use the book from another rare car of that make. say, in this case a 200sx. its not like they can tell the difference can they? :P

300Z is not a safe car to have illegal papers I guess... Its a true eye catcher.

problem is when you have a run in with the law the court normally get specialist help. so i guess the answer is no. last place you want ot go to resolve a proble in SL is the judiciary lol.

forgot to add, with a stunt like that it`ll be impossible to get any finance for the car from a finance company. same fate vehicles on 66- and 69- plates suffer from.

any ideas how the green R33 turned blue manged to get it registered? what was wrong with it in the first place that ruled it out from the registration process?

& didn't someone mention that the engine plate is cross checked against the CR etc to get the VET , so thats another place such a discrepancy would get highlighted rather easily

that car was a late-ish import right,so maybe a permit issue?

dunno though
