What do you mean by high performance? If you're looking for a slightly non boring car made after 2008 for that budget i have 2 suggestions for you:

1. Mazda Axela/3 

2. Lancer CS2/CS3 

Of the two you could just manage a 2008 Mazda for around 3mil. As for the cs3 you can get a fairly good specimen for that budget-maybe even a 2010/11 one.
