Both cars have been discussed to death. Please search the forum. 

The two sedans are intended for two different market segments. The Axio is basic and the Premio has a bit more comfort and features. One is Hybrid and the other is pure gasoline so one will do a bit better on fuel than the other. Both are Toyotas that the flashers and the thel savers desire so as long as it looks shiny it will get sold (forget about condition as these people do not care about it....more silver pieces are hanging off of the car the better).

Since your first concern was cost and fuel..buy the Axio...

Fuel->Axio
