What is the best car Toyota vitz 2018 vs suzuki swift RS 2018

Both have been discussed and compared in the past...please read those threads.

In summary..they are both well put together. The Vitz has been around for a while so we know it is reliable but it is an old design with modern equipment stuck in it (there is a new model coming in 2019). The Swift RS is still new so its too new to say how well it has been put together.

Vitz is an average practical not so exciting car, the Swift is a fun car to drive....

This is quite subjective - see clearly the 'Better' car is the Swift. BUT this is Sri Lanka. If you notice the Swift is waaaay low it has 120 mm ground clearance. Having driven around Sri Lanka quite a lot I'm sure you know still this country has primitive roads that are best handled by a SUV - even in colombo there are many by roads that  are horrible in this aspect the Vitz has better clearance.   Secondly the Swift is a sweet handling car but in reality our cars hardly get the chance to flex their muscles 90% of the time we crawl in traffic . So to sum up I'd still say the Swift is the better car But the Vitz is the more practical one - if you can live with that sluggish engine, the bare-bones console without an  tacho-meter (RPM)  then it's a good choice -  the Switf on the other hand has all the bells and whistles but does it actually matter?

P.S: The vitz is cheaper - the current prices at local car-sales are overly exaggerated due to demand.

Take the safety ratings (NCAP) in to account too. as I recall, Vitz has a better grading in Euro NCAP compared to that of Swift RS.
