Bonnet Insulation repair/ Replacement

Hi and welcome to AL.

For longer life of said insulation, dont wash or even get it  wet.

The pic don't look too bad if you ask me.☺️ There is no factory equipment replacement.

Therfore, keep the originality of the car by doing nothing,.. or risk making your car look like it got submerged in a flood.?

Cheers,

TT.

Yeah, that doesn't look bad at all for a 17 year old vehicle. I think I see the bottom clip mounting holes are torn off. If you can just address that by reinforcing it with a bit of plastic sheet on the reverse side of the insulation, that would do the trick. Finding one of these will be extremely difficult.

One of my cars had a replacement bonnet and was missing this. For the most part of my ownership, I was trying to find an insulation, but couldn't. Ended up using McFoil to make one myself. Looked hideous but did it's job.
