Yes the best way to start is by home visits.

If you are honest reliable and can do a good job you will devolop a good number of clents

Specialy as it saves both time and money to the customers.

But dont to experiments. Stick to the limits of your abilities discuss with the owner of what you are going to do.

With time you could buy yourself an obd and some more tools.

As time goes by there might be niche opportunities for skilled craftsmen like panel beaters etc for restoration work - it's harder and harder to find good tinkers and the like these days
