Toyota Pixis , Daihatsu Mira

They are both the same car...so there really is nothing to compare except that one has a Toyota badge and the other a Daihatsu badge. If you compare the safety equipment and other accessories you will see that even those are pretty much the same except for a few differences here and there.

Daihatsu : https://www.daihatsu.co.jp/lineup/mira_e-s/pdf/equipment.pdf

Toyota : http://toyota.jp/pages/contents/pixisepoch/002_p_001/pdf/spec/pixisepoch_equipment_list_201705.pdf

<Use the google translator app to translate the Japanese. You can take a screen shot and the app will translate the Japanese text in the image>

As for the car itself...it is Daihatsu's 3rd best selling car right now. For the most part they are very basic (perhaps not as basic as the alto) so don't expect fancy buttons and stuff.  The cars come with Daihatsu's KF engine which has been quite good.  As with most normal kei cars in Japan the car comes decently equipped.

Since Sri Lankans have an unhealthy obsession over Toyotas that may account to something when reselling.

Good explanation. Unfortunately I cant understand Japanese PDF. Please comment on the Cons and Pros compared to same range Japanese suzuki Alto or Suzuki Wagon R? How about spare parts and maintenance cost? Will it be advantage to buy over same range Indian or Japanese??

Use the Google translator app on your phone. You can take a picture of the Japanese text on your screen (PDF) and it will translate the picture !

A lot has been discussed about the Wagon R, Alto. Please go through those threads and do a comparison with your preferred models. I do not have any of these cars so if I was to give you pros and cons; I too would have to read various materials which you yourself could do.
