Well...here is some friendly advise. Before checking whether your car is a CVT or not....find out what the car is !

The City (or any other car for that matter) was NEVER EVER built in Singapore. The City and its Japanese market equivalent, the Fit Aria, were both for the most part made in Thailand. They were also manufactured in smaller numbers in  small numbers in Malaysia, Phillipines, India/Pakistan and even in China. So your Singapore built City is most probably from either Thailand or Malaysia.
