I was watching a Yangwang U8 struggling to make it up a muddy hill on Youtube. I was wondering why cant an EV be more capable off road than an ICE vehicle. Given the fact that this behemoth has 4 individual motor on each wheel it should be able to direct power to the wheel that has more grip and stop power to the slipping wheel. I bought a Toyota Passo 2004 which has a smart key. Smart key can be used to start the car perfectly, but not to lock or unlock the car doors. I changed the battery of the key but nothing happened. But I can lock unlock the car doors from driver side with the manual key. Another issue i noticed is my dome light on "Door" position doesn't go away after closing the doors. I have to turn it completely off. I checked all four doors and the hatch door separately each open/close is detected by the dashboard door open light, so looks like the door switches are working fine. Only the dome light doesn't detect my all doors are closed and the remote key doesn't open or close my doors. Has anyone experienced this?
