WELCOME !

Yes, it may cost a bit more but it's a BMW! :smilie_liebe9:

Hate to burst your bubble, but even the agent don't stock parts for your car. due to age.

You'll find independent specialists in Col and Kandy.for maintance.

Good luck!

Nice car.

There's also a new place near where I live, in Thalapathpitiya. At least I think there's someone who fixes BMWs, because at any one time there's at least 6 of them there.

well its a bummer if the agents arent stocking up on parts, well my only option would be to get them from ebay.

Thanks Terrabytetango, hmm people tell that dominic and prestige is the place for Bimmers.

Can the E30 be a daily grind other than a weekend car?, since my job is to travel most of the time.

If your car has a 4 cyl engine,it will have a Timing belt,

hope you have maintenance history.

Maintaining an e30 is not much of a hassle, when getting an e30 most important thing check for rust, if its a 316i/318i improper maintenance usually leads to camshaft wear in m40's, parts arent that too expensive, unless your going to add premium options, e30 is good for a daily driver really good on fuel plus you dont have to do oil service as frequent as in a jap car
