Suburu Wrx 7 - Good Choice Or Not

Guys

I have been looking for a good vehicle for a long time now and didn't find one yet. How about

  • Brand:Subaru
  • Model year:2002
  • Transmission:Manual
  • Model:WRX 7
  • Body type:Saloon
  • Fuel type:Petrol
  • Engine capacity:2,000 cc
  • Millage: 70k
  • 1st owner

Since I don't have much experience with Suburus I thought of asking the experts.

  • What's the reasonable price tag for this car?
  • What are the common issues with this car?
  • Any helpful information?
  • What's the fuel consumption for this?
  • Would like to know about Maintainability as well? are spare parts available freely?

Thanks in advance

Im very much like to see the answers for these questions.

Once I accidentally dropped in to a garage near pannipitiya, Replica Sp*ed. Later I got to know they are specialized in Subies. As I noticed they bring down parts too.
Specialists will answer properly...

i can assure you that you won't be getting "happily lived ever after" answer if you are very keen on fuel consumption :), if you're willing to save 10-15k every month for the car and willing to do the service from the right place no matter how hard it is then go for it, scoobie is the right car for you. I'm telling you this because me myself having concerns for buying one but still feel that i'm not there yet :)

@dasunh - i just PM'd you on your question. Even though i do not have a WRX i wrote some info that will be useful on your buy. no offense m not a fan of a WRX though... went on a ride in one... the thrill is epic BUT constant stiff suspension n rumble will not last in my good books much. i prefer the Legacy much more... a comfortable cruiser plus a pissed off flat four if i gently tickle her throttle is my cup of tea :D
