Please don't clutter the forum opening new threads when you've opened an Audi A4 thread just last week here.

The forum is already full of Audi A4 threads. A simple search would have resulted in the lot below:

I drive a year 2000 diesel,had the car for 3years now.

I am quite satisfied about driving pleasure, comfort, handling, and fuel economy(12 city,18highway for diesel 1.9TDi)

Parts are readily available in Panchi(D@rsana motors near Commercial bank and so on..)

However seals can be a bit of a problem in an old engine.

Our car had a small Oil leak, and needed to refill about 0.5l of oil after every to galle~colombo trips.

So we decided to permanantly fix it by opening the engine.

while the engine was opened,we also replaced many engine components like piston rings,big-end bearings, valve seals, valves, tappets, engine mounts etc.

the total spare parts cost was around 2lakhs,and all parts were sourced from D@rsana motors with a good discount.

I think even for a Jap Noah, the cost would have been not so different.

I have added another 5000kms after the engine rebuild without any issues.

why do you want a petrol, when diesel offers similar comfort,Power with better fuel economy.

Euro diesels are completely different compared to Japs,in terms of vibration, engine sound, and power.

and the older diesels have no known trouble makers like DPF,which tends to get clogged due to low quality of fuel here.
