Well from that article only the cars <1000cc and Vans are reduced it seems.

In typical SL style effective from Y'day midnight with no details available as to what has changed :).

hybrid vehicle prices went up. duty is actually reduced. but vat portion isolated from existing duty.

Toyota aqua price go up by around 110,000

Toyota Prius price would be increased by 150,000 or more

Honda vezel would be settle around 185,000 up from the current price.

How would the market react to the new budget proposals?

(Eyeing for a Hybrid or used Navara).

The manning market is very excited

Peliyagoda fish market seems to be disappointed

Dambulla elawalu market is complaining

Meegoda something or the other market is over the moon

Dont give let down comments when a question is asked

point is machan nobody has a clue as to what's going on.

Everybody is in the dark as to how the tax system will play out.

So you can forget predicting how the market will react. :)

So just wait and see, it's not as if buying a car is like a life and death situation where u have to decide right away.
