Petrol Or Fule Filter Replacement

Normally at services we only replace the oil filter or air filter.

When do we need to replace a pentrol filter ? If so, what would be the cost ? I have heard that it is very expensive.

Some Models have it inside engine bay.

Cost about 2500/= (V*C is a decent one)

One inside Fuel tank is people hardly changed. No idea about price of that.

what car do you use usually a quick search will give you the results if you have the owners manual that should have it too. But since we dont have the best of fuel first to start off on you might need to replace it at less intervals i.e if the book says 15k you might want to do it 12k purely judgmental and dependent on the owner imo

You'll notice if it's blocked. Fuel starvation occurs. But best ot wait til that happens. I replaced mine with a Nissan filter. 960/- works fine.

If I may clarify the point on the cost, in fact there are two types of petrol filters. One is the inline filter like the one shown above which is relatively cheap and there is another type sitting inside the fuel tank along with the fuel pump (In fact it is a screen not a filter although the both terms are used). This internal filter is not meant for frequent replacement (of course assuming we get quality fuel from CPC though it is not the case always) and expensive to replace. These filters or screens can be cleaned.
