Tappet Cover & Fuel Injector Blown

My EK3 is having a D15Z7 engine and I was perviously faced corrotions on my spark plugs. But now it became worse.... my tappet cover and injector system was cracked. :-(

Mechanic said its due to over-heating and he said I need to replace engine. But cant I just replace this particular parts??

If it is possible, where can i find this whole unit??

You can replace the head and the valves and if required the injectors, but the cost of the first two brand new would probably exceed the cost of a replacement engine. Also most will not part with just the head from a used engine as the block by itself is very difficult to sell.

There is an area called Engine watte in panchikawatte where you can have a look, or places which import used spares from Japan would also have engines, for example in Delkanda. Its worthwhile going through the Yellow pages and giving a few calls to places like Japan Lanka, Euro Nippon, Taiyo etc which are located slightly away from Delkanda. The smaller places usually offer better prices.
