Master Don,

Thanks for mentioning my name on your post. I will not engage in English lessons.

I am willing to give some advice on Automobiles to others of what I know.

I have been in automobile industry from 1960. Till I get my last call. I will go on.

Best wishes for you.

Sylvi Wijesinghe.

Indeed he is...somewhat of a car guy too. West Coast Customs did some numbers for him including a Jeep Wrangler with large doors so that he could actually get in LOL :D

@MD, may I suggest throwing in a hybrid in the mix to balance out the representation for the car of the year? Something cool like a Tesla or something?

Car of the Year award nominee cars has to have/had atleast one example in SL and/or caused quite a stir among the local car community.Established mainstream models like Corrolla,or Prius in general is not considered. But if one particular Corrolla or Prius stood out from the rest for whatever reason it will get nominated.

It is that Lancer ( ? CS3) and that Actyon cab which were repeatedly advertised in AL saying those are the best in it's class but couldn't sell to anyone

He's not a car guy per say, as you say, he has trouble fitting in :) I hear he has a custom Ferrari without back seats and the driving seat relocated to the back. Tho I believe he favours a Ford F series. F650 IIRC

Memory is not too bad :)

http://f650pickups.com/deez.html

Seems he had a F350 too

And this is why I remember :D

Apparently, the truck is too big to fit in most restaurant car parks so he has to park somewhere else and walk it.

Nice to see the GT86 leading..."ganbare GT hachirouku ganbare" :) :) :)

Good luck GT 86 good luck :D

But then how come its not: hachirouku ganbare GT hachirouku ganbare? (I have no idea knowledge of Japanese, am just wondering why the whole phrase is not repeated. As in 'X' 'Y' GT 'X 'Y' Vs 'X' GT 'X' 'Y')
