Chinese are going to take over the automobile industry for sure. Tesla who was considered ground braking is shying away from the promised small EV and moving to Taxi cars as the competition is too strong. Then comes Chery with this small EV SUV. Looks like a Mini G Class / Jimny but is fully electric.· 2 replies

Interior Specialists? Every time I go over some bumps my seats squeak quite loudly and there is a massive rattle of a nail undone coming from inside the dashboard, anybody got any suggestions I could go to? My usual mechanic just said "turn the radio up"· 2 replies

I was watching a Yangwang U8 struggling to make it up a muddy hill on Youtube. I was wondering why cant an EV be more capable off road than an ICE vehicle. Given the fact that this behemoth has 4 individual motor on each wheel it should be able to direct power to the wheel that has more grip and stop power to the slipping wheel. Cant be rocket science right?· 3 replies

I woke up one day and I now want to buy a W140. The brain works in mysterious ways. It definitely doesn't understand the concept of money since I am nowhere near affording one.· 2 replies

Question

The ground clearance of the 2008 model vitz car I recently bought is too low for my liking. So, I thought of increasing the tyre size. The current tyres are 175/65R14.
I googled to check the maximum tyre size that could be fit in to my car but according to the recommendations of many sites the tyre diameter increase should not exceed more than 2.5%. So, the ultimate effect even if I used 185/60/R15 would be negligeable ( Not even one inch).
I learnt that the 1.5L vitz RS model has got 195/50R16 tyres. My questions is would it be safe to use 195/50R16 in my vitz 1.0L (F grade) car because it falls outside the 2.5% margin. Thanks in advance..!
