The S4 has a octacore cpu.The best in their line. And the korean S4 they sell here is going for around 30k. Something is clearly wrong!

Unless you saw the phone come out the factory you shouldn't believe its a real S4. Hell, whoever is making this phone is breaking a ton of interlectual property laws and what not, do you think they give 2 fks about printing the TRUTH on the label???

PS: I can probably get some Chinese phone maker to make me a fake iPhone5 and on the label say "First iPhone 5 built by Apple, Steve Jobs kissed it goodbye before packing it and shipping it to Sri Lanka". It's on the label, HAS to be true right?

Are you serious? Do you think net income is the indicator of quality or popularity or the numbers of the product - think twice and look four times around the net before you share anything like this. Your defense probably might be - lets just compare the mobile handset related profits alone of the brands eh? Wrong again.

I grant that the business model of apple has always been to sell higher grade product at a premium price (usually keeping close to a 40% margin on each product, ex. overheads). But higher grade does not translate to best - what they did was to create a separate i-environment which was not compatible with many other standards thus leaving their own consumers with no fair comparison.

They are going to hit a wall sooner rather than later when regulators (predominantly in EU) come up with tougher standards like the universal micro-usb for charging, DLNA or wifi-direct for sharing etc. and they will be forced to change their business model drastically.

Believe me - EU forced Ferrari to go hybrid and make more fuel efficient cars, they made Mazda stop the production of the popular RX-8 altogether, firms like apple will hv no choice.

And apple has already lost most of the advantages they had on IP, many of their design patents have been successfully challenged by others in court and recently firms like Samsung, Google/Motorola has been creating significantly higher IP activity for future.

So selling fewer products at inflated premiums work - just not in the long term.

The reason's Apple's profits are high is because they put about $125 worth of components into a phone and sell it to iDiots for around $700. And there are plenty of iDiots going around telling people to buy that!

The only thing of Apple you should buy is Stock, tho that isn't a good bet anymore either, more people are waking up to the scam these days.

I'll also say this. The Koreans save the their best product for themselves, unlike the Sri Lankans. True of both Samsung AND LG. Should check into their car market and see if its true there too.

Lankans, of course, drink tea dust while exporting the best stuff, and until MoC, the best SL crabs were apparently only to be found in Singapore.
