Suzuki Alto Eco 2012

Hi all,

I'm new here and expecting your help to make up my mind for this.

I'm planning to buy a Japanese Suzuki Alto Eco 2012 model. I made this decision after reading some news articles which claims that this version of alto is an extremely fuel efficient car. I do not know anything other than that.

All I want to know is how much will it cost in SL?

If you guys think that this is not a good option, please help me find a good car which matches my criteria. The car should be

1. Economical to run and maintain (I do a lot of driving)

2. Unregistered or slightly used (I'm usually busy, so cannot afford to spend a lot of time in the garage.)

3. With dual air bags or more (expecting some safety)

4. Around 2.7 million.

Appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

As far as I remeber Alto Eco comes with CVT gearbox.

I am having the JDM catalog (Japanese) and will post it soon.

Here are some pages of Suzuki Alto Eco – 2013

(I am sorry for the poor quality of photos)

It says fuel efficiency 33.0km/l for 2WD+CVT & 30.4km/l for 4WD+CVT.
Don’t expect these fuel efficiencies practically here.

Think twice before you buy it as this Alto Eco is not much familiar here as far as I know.

Thanks Sampath. As you pointed out, I'm bit worried that I don't see this car on our roads yet. Not sure if it's worthy to take the risk.

Seems like I have to have a plan B in this case. But I don't have a much understanding about today's market. Appreciate if you experts can help me to decide on a car.

Thanks in advance.
