Contact Breaker Gap For Maruti 800

Guys,

any one of you know what is the Contact Breaker Gap for maruti 800

i had my distributor repaired today and the engin giving a miss....

For M800 it should be 0.4mm. Check the plug wires too if you are getting a miss.

Thanks bro, at 0.4mm situation is same, checked the plug wires as well.

so kept the gap for 0.5mm, now things are ok seems............

It is highly unlikely in this case that the engine missing a beat due a slight variation in the contact gap if all other things are OK. 0.4mm is the standard for M800.

Does the engine miss appear when in idle or while running at high speed? Do you see excessive wear (pitting) on the contact after few days of use? How did you check the plug wires? Did you check for plug wire resistance in the region of 4K ohm to 15K ohm?
