I spoke to them on sat and they said 40 have been sold the previous day and that april production is full.. they are taking orders for the may production...

Should be noted that it comes with the TD4 150BHP engine not the SD4...

then again people wont care as long as its a evoque

It's a great vehcile to drive.

Essentially it's a free lander 2 chassis with tricked out suspension and different body styling, so you know the running gear is good!

what is this permit thing exactly by the way guys?

Robin Hood robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. The permit scheme is just the Sri Lankan government's way of robbing from the poor and giving to the rich.

In other words, govt employees can get a permit to import a vehicle at a subsidized tax. They are also allowed to sell these permits. So these tax-subsidy permits end up in the hand of the ones who can afford Bimmers, Mercs et. al.. This cross-subsidy is done by increasing the import taxes on three wheelers, motor cycles, 800CC cars etc.

What Crosswind is saying is that 800cc cars, motor bikes and three wheeler are used by people who are in the lower end of the earning scale. They drive them (with the exception of three wheeler drivers who are professionals) because they cannot afford anything better.

I thought that bit was obvious.

What about petrol? We pay more than the norm for petrol just for the rich to enjoy driving in their diesels paying only a fraction of what it would normally be...

without sunroof n few things, that's what the agents said,

No sunroof?

The advert clearly states Panoramic Sunroof with Electric Blinds.

The few things I would say that you can live with. One option that crossover needs is a reverse camera; it is annoyingly hard to see out the back.

Dear C-Class Garandiya, words like 'economics' may be quite alien to you, because u didn't step in to a school even during rain. Just because u don't know these words, doesn't mean they don't exist in the planet.

Unfortunately only a people with at least an ounce of brain can understand the obvious
