Hi @AVANTE I saw you comprehensive answer on Peugeot 406. So I submit a question and if you could, could you have a look on my post(· 0 replies
) I would like to have your opinion on that. So my obvious choice was Peugeot 406 D9 diesel one. but what i heard was, probability of some one selling it due to considerable issues, and it has hard time of reselling and repairing and spare pats finding and cost may considerably high. Seeking advice on this.
Thank you

Chinese are going to take over the automobile industry for sure. Tesla who was considered ground braking is shying away from the promised small EV and moving to Taxi cars as the competition is too strong. Then comes Chery with this small EV SUV. Looks like a Mini G Class / Jimny but is fully electric.· 4 replies

Interior Specialists? Every time I go over some bumps my seats squeak quite loudly and there is a massive rattle of a nail undone coming from inside the dashboard, anybody got any suggestions I could go to? My usual mechanic just said "turn the radio up"· 2 replies

I was watching a Yangwang U8 struggling to make it up a muddy hill on Youtube. I was wondering why cant an EV be more capable off road than an ICE vehicle. Given the fact that this behemoth has 4 individual motor on each wheel it should be able to direct power to the wheel that has more grip and stop power to the slipping wheel. Cant be rocket science right?· 3 replies

Question
GTAm
Hi Guys,
I'm about to replace the front set on my Alfa 159, size - 225/55/17 (the correct size is 225/50/17 but there aren't any in that size)
I've narrowed down to Avon W 101 XLs (if I recall right). They have a better speed rating than Pirelli P7's I was also considering and are sligntly cheaper.
The car originally had Goodyear Eagle F1's which were fabulous. I had to change the fronts last year due to excessive negative camber (I failed to check) eating the inner sides and went with Dunlop SP Sport (cheapest option) which are near bald almost before a year!!! It's unbelievable how fast they've wasted. And the grip level was nowhere near the Goodyears.
This is the first time I'm trying out Avon. I know it's new to SL but was just wondering if anyone had any info or experience before I part with the money. (Goodyear's aren't available and I can't afford Michelin Pilot Sport and Pirelli P Zeros which are about double the price).
I've given up reading internet reviews because you get good and bad reviews for any brand and tyre model. So it is really not helpful. Considering that it's budget time next month I'm thinking of buying 4 and stocking 2 for later.
Thanks in advance.
