I feel sorry for you not having proper sense. If someone says that his FB 15 doing 10KM/l that means all the adds are that say 10KM/l are his ones. That prius ad is put by a lady. I am not a car seller. I feel sorry for you.

If you have not heard of anyone who has achieved 30 KM/L, please access internet and see for yourself. I hope you are not talking big by using conventional petrol car that does less than 15 Km/L. Cammon use new technology and see the difference. If cannot afford try to hire one for a day. One day in my heaven.

ha ha ha....funnyyyyyyyyyy :jumping-smiley-013:

her one and your one both doing exactly 30kml...he he...

and most economical car in the world.

and you are the richest man in the world.

you are the man...

Even after 100% TAX free and when you can get a 2008 Model for 2.4 Mill it not get popular yet in SL..

Hi,

I just noticed an article about Toyota Prius. It is about a software failure in breaks. It has been led to a product recall by Toyota claiming a USD 2billion loss. However they have rectified the same in cars manufactured after 27th Jan 2010. Please talk to Toyota SL and get their advises prior buying this vehicle.

Do Not Buy Toyota Prius Manufactured Before Feb 2010 product recall by toyota as they found a major blackout issue

it has been found that there is a blackout issue in its break system may be due to software fault and Toyota has recalled all prius manufactured before feb 2010. better contact toyota Sri Lanka before you go ahead with purchasing a Prius Hybrid. any one who wants the article please write to me on

hey prius r us now what?

you have a prius isnt it?

Have any thing to say?

I'm gonna give you a bit of life advise dude. Don't believe anything on the internet, just coz its on the internet. Even if you agree with it.

In short, I'd wait before passing judgment based on this chaps thread. Lets see this article first.

looks like the prius is the new Axio G.. All those key-less winker dudes must feel like an :action-smiley-081: when the Jones' next door rolls down the lane in his 30kmpl Prius and whoops your 15 kmpl axio

This sorta stuff really does brighten up ones day to no end, all these jokers imagining that they have gotten themselves the best car in the world lol....

Me, I'll stick with my "Old technology" German that'll do 7km/l in the city on a good day thank you very much.

Didn't clarksons V8 Jag diesel get around 60MPG driving recklessly.so you are boasting about 20mgp more?.As someone said the hybrids will settle in SL in due course,no need to push it here just to sell your car.

Either you start posting unbiased or please go away. That goes to all of you out there who are trying to make a quick buck out of the forum. This is a place to share knowledge and advice,Don't ruin it for the rest of us.

Ado... don't say that.. I am trying to peddle my Alfa 3.0l, 24V, V6 as a car that does really 'well' on petrol..... :)))

It has stiff competition with the new Hybrids... :)

That display pic of urs is it a meter cluster off a VW Jetta by any chance? Just got my self a Jetta and it looks exactly the same. Its a 2000 manufacture 2.0 litre GLS 5 speed. First ever euro car.

Close, It's a 2002 Passat 1.8T... Congrats on the purchase, VWs are bloody good cars as long as you understand and accept that they ARE going to throw the occasional random issue up every now and again. As long as you can deal with that they are superb.

Thanks bud, I would have loved the 1.8T but im happy with the 2.0. It already does have some random issues like remote trunk not working, hand brake not working, cigaratte lighter (need it for GPS) not working and the back lights of the AC controls not working. All that are minor. Hoping to get to them in the near future. Other than that pretty solid. Heard VWs are prone to a few electrical issues? Any major probs uv faced so far?

Isnt it ironic we are talking about Euro cars on a Prius thread?

Euros are a MUCh more interesting subject!

Well I bought the car from the first owners, it had done 75k when I got it and had a lot of little things to sort. Some suspension work, engine work, interior work etc. Nothing electrical so far but you never know really... they throw up the weirdest little issues sometimes. Thankfully there now is a specialist for VW group products here so that is a big help.
