I need an advice about AT212 engine,

heard that this car comes with 5AFE 1500cc engine .but when i checked one car, it's 5A-G6.... ENGINE.

Is there any difference ?

Hope this is not related to fuel consumption.

i think you got the engine number wrong dude there is no 5A-G6 engine carina only comes with 1.5L 5A-FE in Ti,1.6L 4A-GE in GT and 1.8L 7A-FE in Si other engines are diesels 2C-T and 3C-TE.

If i buy this car i have to do major engine repair as its not in good condition with over 200k mileage.

So how much will it cost roughly ?

Check the car carefully before buying...usually 5A, 4A & 7A engines are reliable. saying that, when it has run quite a bit, oil tends to burn more, unless the engine has been taken care of carefully...

Heard about Rasika ,mechanic in maharagama -piliyandala road near by tyre shop close to maharagama. He does scanning also.

How's his work ? Any experience from forum members ?

Is there any good mechanics in nugegoda wijerama area?
