What Is The Best Car For 1.4Mil

rsami

Question

Hi everybody

I'm new to this forum as well as for this field.

i read all the threads with associate with my problem.

I’m finding a car around 1.4mil in these days and this will be my first vehicle.

so i don't have much knowledge about automobile field.

i need economical, less malignance cost car. so most of the people suggest me to buy Toyota AE100

i need at least 94 or 95,Auto,full option car .

so i phoned several sellers who selling ae100(newspaper ads).most of them ask over 1.5mil for these cars :speechless-smiley-003: i think it's over priced.

Could you please let me know the ideal price for AE100?

i have an idea to sell it in about 6 or 7 month and go for a better car like FB15 .

is it possible to find a good AE110 (auto, full option ) for about 1.5mil (I'll be able to stretch my budget to 1.5 mil )

Please advice me

Thanks in advance

you nuts.. buying a AE100 for 1.5M

and no.. it will be very hard to sell if for the same price..

trying going for a Lancer CK2. you'll be able to find a good car for around 1.4 M and even less

or even a good FB14.

and if the number is not a big issue, you can find a good 19- Honda Civic EK3 for a bit over 1.4 M

these cars will hold some re-sale value

Thanks for your reply

Actually i was looking for Lance CK 2 before.

i like it much than Toyota cars(because of the sporty look :smilie_liebe9: ,

but the problems are fuel cost, maintain cost(parts) and resell value.

i need it to be economical, that’s why i changed my mind for ae100

What would you think about these factors with comparing toyota ?

thanks again

PS: personally i don't like to FB14 car because of it shape :sad-smiley-066:

a CK2 will do around 9-10 kmpl

but if you drive carefully you can get more than that..

its all in the driving style

i had a EE106 before (wagon version of the AE100)

and with my driving style it averaged 8-9kmpl

and parts are freely available as well. for the CK2

dude i own a FB14 :P that hurts

erm tbh the AT192 and and the AE100 is older than the FB14 and

i disagree with there sporty looks as well...

and yea it is NOT worth spending 1.5M on a AE100 At all..

If you look hard enough and negotiate well, you should be able to get hold of a 110 1500CC Auto for that price. You need to give it time. You can't expect it to happen in a day or two.

But please understand that you are looking at the two most overpriced cars in the country.

Thanks for all the reply.

what about the Fuel Consumption of the FB14(auto)?

is it possible to find good F/O,Auto AE110 around 1.5mil?

thanks

I had a 1995 FB 14 (Auto) and it did around 9.5~10 km/l in the city and around 11 km/l for long distances. the car did not gave me a big trouble. the annual maintenance cost apart from the service costs was around Rs.10,000/= for some minor repairs. For me look of the FB 14 is not that bad. You will be able to find a good 1995/1996 auto FB 14 Ex saloon for around 1.3 mil

and yeap, you can find a AE110 for that price, but you do have to be patient.

Why bother with mundane boring cars? For your budget you can get hold fo a good Euro with far better option. Mainetenance costs are not as bad as people who use Japanese cars would like you to think.

Pugeout 406, 605, even a 206 will be within your budget.

Early model year BMW E36 316s/318s

Alfa Romeo, 155, 164 can be bought for around 1.0-1.2 Mn

All are excellent cars and are sporting breeds. Unlike the standard Family sedans listed as options for you. THe difference is most o fthese cars has less users, the owner would have looked after them far better han a Jap car, and depepnding on the user, aonly original parts would have been used, plus only the agents would have lookd after them.

hey dude if you hurry you can buy cars for old price still but that will be change in another week or so's time check this it's a ae100 it's at your budget http://autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=76219

and this if you don't mind wagon type this is same as the ae100 and it's more practical than a ae100 http://autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=66758

btw corolla G-touring and L-touring chassis number comes as ae100 or ae101.
