Please buy something manufactored at least 500 miles away from SL. Please...... If you are going to spend 1.9 mil

Like SREE said, why dont you go for the Swift (2004/2005 YOM)?? Better looks, better durability, better driving pleaseure, better everything...

OR you can buy a Sedan type car (2000 - 2002 YOM) like Mazda 323, Nissan FB 15 etc,

On your Point "5. Sporty look", are you kidding me?????

Sporty look!!!!! I love my Chevy cruze!!!

FB 15 is not a fuel efficiency car but has far more values than a Altos or swifts.

if you want brand new. go for a Viva Elite rather than any Maruti

and if you are willing to go for second hand

i suggest Toyota Vitz, a bit old Toyota passo, Chevy Cruze, Mazda 323 BJ5W or BJ5P

Sure thats the price before the price increament (even around 1.9)..

Anyway thats a good buy if the car is in good condition.

There r plenty of 2nd hand cars mate.....so i doubt its hard to find one for that price range even now.....

Friend. I m looking for a brand new one. I m not interested in used vehcles.

So what should be the best option.

Then it should be Viva Elite!!! KIA picanto is there price depends on ptions you select. it should be around 2.1 mil(Basic model is cheaper than 2.1 i think)

It doesn't count which owner you are if your vehicle is in good condition and a good brand(Toyota/nissan/suzuki..) with

availability of maintainance records.

If you realy want to go for a brand new go for Elite or Kia Picanto as i said earlier.. :angry-smiley-048:

Thanks guy.I am bit of afraid with used vehicles. How will be the resellability. brake downs etc.

Don't ever think that Indian cars will remain trouble free, just because they are brand new. Things completely depend on your luck. There are known cases of brand new Marutis causing more trouble than decades old cars.

If you are worried about resale value, I would suggest to go for a mainstream car or a car which has already depreciated significantly.
