Recomondation Need Before Importing A Car (Vitz,demio,passo And Fit)

Hi All,

I’m going to import a Car from Japan. Following are the rough estimated (all inclusive) prices I got recently for auction grade 4.5 car.

Could you please recommend a Car based on your experience and above price? What will be the good offer? Are there any difference between 2009 last lap(Oct to Dec) car and 2010 first lap(Jan - March) car? What are the advantages going for 1300 than 1000 comparing with prices?

Please consider below things as well when recommending a Car

1. Exterior

2. Interior

3. Fuel consumption

4. Second hand market

5. Spare parts availability and price

6. Acceleration

Vitz 1000 cc (2009)

2.9 Mil

Its bit over budget. Also I heard 1000 cc fuel consumption is worst than other cars listed here.

Demio 1300 cc (2009)

2.8 Mil

Seems its bit old design now. From 2007 to up to now Mazda demio exterior looks similar. Am I correct?

Also I’ve doubt about second hand market and fuel consumption.

Honda fit 1300 cc (2009)

2.8 Mil

Its design not nice like other models. Also I don’t know much about this car than other cars listed.

Toyota Passo 1000 cc (2009)

2.4 mil

Its design not nice like other models(rear view). But I heard that it comes with new design now. Is it available in 2009 last lap cars? Also heard acceleration is not enough. Is that true?

Don’t blame me if someone already posted a bit similar post. I searched before posting this but didn’t see exact answers for me.

If you ever gonna sell your car, buy the Toyota Vitz. It will be far easier to sell it than Demio, Fit or Passo in future.

But I checked with several car importers but these are the average prices I got.

Do you know any person who is importing auction grade 4.5 car below than these prices?

I believe the prices that quoted are good as of current market rate. Above 2009.. i.e 2010 are way too high than this. like Vitz is around 3.1 mn and Passo around 2.7 mn. Even year 2007 model passo imported in 2010 are around 2.5 mn with reputed agents like Ishara Indra etc.

well i dont have any big idea on the prices. but i can suggest you to go for a VItz. it'a good car. my friends one did around 20-22 Km\l last week.
