Advice Needed To Buy Kyron

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Thinking of buying a Kyron (2009/2010) but not familiar with Ssangyong products.

Can somebody shed some light on

a. what would be the price of a registered Kyron (2009/2010)?

b. Is it a good option for a SUV (inexpensive of course)?

(I've heard the problems Ssangyong were going through in the recent past)

c. What are the other options for a similar price range?

Looking forward to hear from you folks!

TIA,

AF79

Yep it's a good option for a suv

There are some problems might be due to local assembly,

The sportage is a better vehicle if u can find more green the tucson is also an competitor at about 400k more

These are more solid vehicles but they lack some options available in the kyron (transmission fro steering wheel, and climate control)

I havent exactly had experience with a kyron but i do with the actyon.

One thing i can tell you is if you even have an idea remotely allocated to light offroading forget it, during those rainy floody days we were on a road that was slightly submerged (lightly touching the door level) and it only went about 10 feet and stopped.didnt start after that at all, then it turns out that water has actually entered the engine compartment and it cost him about 2lakhs for the repairs

I mean come on its an suv for god sakes !

He drove his cefiro to work on the same road the other day and the car didnt even stop once ! :alc:

I once side swiped a Kyron once with by Ford Double cab.... thats more or less the only experience I have. with those abominations on the road.

Only scratched paint on the Ford, destroyed Lights, fender, and front buffer pulled off on the Kyron.

Ford 1, Kyron 0.... :)

Go for a Sportage... far better build quality.

Leave the Kyrons to the tasteless government types. Mostly the Palath Sabha types, :action-smiley-060:
