  1. Guys, I bought a new Hella Classic Horn set for my Vitz and going to fix it (didn't want to do myself but looking forward to If I can make it). I am extending from my question in the following thread and reply from @tiv . Just finding facts and getting guidance. Quoted is the @tiv reply. It seems that there is a relay in the Fuse box and a separate fuse for the Horn. But the thing is the relay is a Relay Integration (highlighted below). It's a single unit with several fuses. So, can I use the existing line and split it to connect the two horns in the new set without using a new relay? What is the method if I must install a new relay too?
  2. fixing Idle up vacuum relay (DIY) (This is only relevant for older vehicles which does not have ECU or can drive through an EMP Attack ) When the AC is turned on the engine RPM should raise a bit to cater for the load it gets. To do so a vacuum line coming from alternator is connected to a mechanical suction unit (idle up switch). It pulls the accelerator cable so that the RPM increases. When AC compressor turns off the electrical relay valve cut off the vacuum suction to get the engine back to it's normal idle RPM. The guy who fixed the Idle up switch to my jeep has forgotten the relay. So it always gave a high RPM at idle. I had to fix the cut off relay for that. Below is the pics of those two units. Relay Pull Switch Happy DIY project if you own an oldie with dual AC
  3. Hi dear friends, My Car is TOYOTA Corolla AE110 XE Saloon (1998, Auto, Petrol) Recently I purchased this car from another person. Car is in mint condition. But there is a problem. The radiator fan working continuously. My knowledge about auto electrical is very poor. But I checked the problem with my knowledge. The fan is switching by an original relay. (Normally closed relay) There is no voltage at relay coil, so the relay always closed. Then the fan is working nonstop. I tried to find, the operation voltage of fan relay, but I couldn't find the it. Then I thought the problem is with "Thermostat Sensor" Then I went to an auto electrician, He said the thermostat wire has disconnected in somewhere. But he couldn't find it, My questions are, (1) what is the other end of thermostat sensor wire? (2) How can I find it? (3) How to check thermostat sensor is good or bad? Please help me. Thanks.
