Recently I replaced rack of my Suzuki Swift ZC71S and replaced with re-conditioned rack. But I've been experiencing the same issue which discussed earlier in the forum.(Steering not returning after turn to left) According to the AM* Peilyagoda, the tie rods (which comes with the rack) does not compatible . The similar type tie rods had on previous rack too and had the same issue (Not returning when turn to left) They tried to find tie rods for this model but they couldn't (The service they provided was horrible and don't want to discuss it here) Please see below photos. Anyone know this is normal for tie rods? (It could be better if someone has photos of the same model tie rods). What A*W said was there is no vehicle in there garage to check (I don't belive it)

One of my close friends owns a Daihatsu Terios 2007 and he has lost one of the covers that encloses front-right end-fitting of the roof railing. He is looking for a replacement and I was wondering whether you guys have any idea of a place where I can find the replacement covers. I am pretty sure that if I am to buy this, he will have to at least buy all four covers together and in the worst case, he might have to replace both railings. The following figure will give you an idea of what I am looking for. What he has lost is the right-front cover and the image with the caption "correct one" is just the right-rear cover. I found the following image from one of the popular china-based online stores and this is somewhat similar to what I am looking for (the parts of image given in the following image, apparently fits Toyota RAV 4 and the seller does not ship to Sri Lanka anyway)

I am using n16 super saloon (2001) and car is shaking when accelerating and speed comes to 40kmph. This happens when speed comes down to 40kmph also. Any advices ?

In my honda fit GP5 I'm getting a "chiri chiri" (metal scrape) noise when my left front wheel hit a rough road with shocks. I'm not getting any noise or anything wired voice when I'm turning the steering wheel. I worried whether I'm having any trouble with my rack ends since I hit a bumbler on the road around 80Kmh few weeks back. Does any one have any opinion about this problem and what's the best thing to do? (eg. whether do a wheel aliment first) Thank you very much.

Hi need advice on contacts to service the car rack of my Toyota Corolla 121, since I hear some unusual noice on not rough terrain. I heard it’s a usual thing with Corolla, is this true? Best option is to replace or repair? Regards ravi

hello guys, firts of all I should say i have only minor experience about vehicles and vehicle technical jargon. I own Suzuki swift 2007 Japanese one and noticed car is slowly pull to left side when i drive(this is the only problem i have. no any other sound. done alignment. new good year tires.). I took it to the Agent and suggestion was to repair the Rack bush and they told me it requires some lathe work to re-fill the bush. when i talked about cost according to them it will be around 15,000-20,000. I have seen some of the threads about steering rack problems and replies about lathe works and of course i have seen a mech called "Wasantha" on most of the threads. I need your help/thoughts to sort this out please.
