Hi Folks, I bought a KE 74 recently (a week before). When i was buying i checked oil dipstick and oil cap there was no issues. But after changing the oil to 15W-40 in the service, it started to spit some oil in dipstick.. Also its struggling to start in the morning. But after starting there are no issues such as engine miss when running, white smoke and no oil or coolent decrease. Also noticed that oil leaks in the plug Is this symptoms of engine under compression? TIA

I learned to drive with my dads old Toyota Corolla KE72. Later my father sold it and moved to a CE108 (Auto gear) which Im sure he is not going to sell any time soon. Now I also own a Civic which is a fun car to drive but badly miss driving a stick shift. Thinking of buying a secondary car for leisure which will also help me learn about motor mechanics. What car can you guys suggest will fit my purpose? Budget is around 4-6 lakhs. Guys Im about to buy my first car and i need your expertise to make the decision. My requirements maybe unpractical or illogical. But here we go. My budget is 1M and is not up-gradable. im ok with old cars but preferably after 90s only because before 90 cars are boxed type. I like my car to be curved or round car fuel economy 9+ in traffic and at least 15+ on high ways. Less maintenance cost and parts availability (colombo area). Can run about 50K kms in next 2 years without any major engine repairs. AC, PS is must. good interior and exterior (good looking car) hatchback is preferred, sedan is also ok. not a big deal are my requirements reasonable for a car under 1M? guys please let me know your ideas and suggestions. Hi everybody, i am planing on buying my first four wheeled vehicle ( CAR ) , so it won't be a brand new or new even. I have an eye for this old mercedes benz w123 which was manufactured in 1981 ~ 1982 somewhere. I am looking for a finance company that can finance a old car. Are there any in sri lanka? because everyone i spoke to says they won't finance anything below English numbers. Well that's rediculous in my opinion. So anyone has an idea about it...? I can bare the cost 50%, at least if i can get 50% financed, it'll be great. Thanks.
