Dear Experts, I purchased a 2008 nissan tiida few months back, 2nd owner car with all the records and the vehicle user manual. This is a CVT model. I've been experiencing a strange power steering malfunction ever since. (This has Electric Power Steering). As soon as I purchased the car I did all the required suspension repairs from my mechanic as well. Now coming to the issue, When I start driving the power steering works fine and the steering feels light. (But it is anyway kind of stiff in the middle position which I did not experience driving other cars with EPS, such as Honda Fit,) But after driving for about half an hour the steering gets stiff and does not return after a turn at all which kind of really annoying and I have to straight the steering by force. When the journey is done and the car is stopped, (means if I drive it again after maybe an hour, not right away) the steering starts to feel light again and steering return functions is also better. And again the same thing happens after sometime. Any expertise advise on this issue from veterans and tiida users? I chose tiida for better cabin room than others in it's class, if this is an unsolvable issue should I look for an alternative car? Thanks. Casanova.

I am looking for a good car to buy as my 1st. My budget is 2.5mil. I have looked for Toyota VIOS and Nissan Tiida. They seemed better cars, but I have very low knowledge in automobiles. My greatest concern is the MAINTENANCE COST and repair costs. Please tell me if one of these cars are good to buy as a 1st car or any other cars to be looked. Thanks & regards.

Hello Experts I own a Nissan Tiida and all of a sudden the AC stopped functioning and now it works more or less like a blower with a slight cool. I took it to R**co and they told me that the cooler has a leak, so that the most successive way to overcome the problem is to replace the cooler. Japanese unit cost Rs.48000 and Malaysian costs Rs38000. My Questions 1 - is there a possibility of repairing the cooler and will it be successful ? 2 - what is the best place to get it done? 3 - and any other alternatives to overcome the problem Im facing Thank you so much in advance, hoping to get some useful advises from learned gentlemen over here. hii guys, I wont a Nissan Tiida. it does really well on fuel when its on highway and long distance travel. (Highway 18.5 kmpl and in normal road for long distance it works around 15 kmpl average) but I dont get a good fuel economy in the city limits. I get somewhere around 10 kmpl. I touch 4000 R.P.M at times when its in the city, is that the reason for low fuel efficiency? expert opinions are welcome. cheers
