  1. Hi all, The front left door lock of my Mazda3 (2008) is malfuctioning sometimes. The lock is movable and is locking alright. But when unlocking, its impossible for the passenger to unlock it properly (the button is moving, but not unlocking), and I have to lock and unlock from the central lock 5-6 times to get the door unlocked. Any idea whats the problem or can you guys recommend a good place (around colombo or kottawa) to get this fixed? Thanks!
  2. Im creating this topic since the last topic about this discussion was back in 2010. What are the best places to get a car detailing done in Kandy. A full interior cleaning with seats removed using good quality products. Prices should be reasonable
  3. Hey all, I am looking on to buy a Mazda 3 or a Mazda 6 Skyactive car which is above 2014. Looked in the classified sites and most of them appears to be overpriced despite them being Low market ones (Compared to Toyota) in SL. Do you people have any idea about how much these would be worthy of buying? Are these vehicles recommended for the respective prices. If not what are the alternatives that I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Prime

  6. Dear All I'm looking to import a car for the 3.6 mil permit, budget between 4-6mil. Will be using it for a minimum of 2 years. I was thinking of the Honda civic 1.0L but rethinking that because of a) Ground clearance - 135mm may not be enough as not limited to the city? b) Have to get the Tech pack (highest grade) because others have no value for the permit. So looked at the corolla sport (maybe better resale value, same ground clearance) and the mazda 3 (which may not have the same resale value?) Any thoughts? Am I overlooking any other options? (not too keen on the CH-R) Thanks in advance
  7. Is MAZDA3 2015 having known common issues ?

  9. Dear Friends, I do have a Mazda3 and now it is used for more than 2 years and driven for 35k+ kms. My problem is when I am going to unlock it in first time of the day it refuses to unlock even I am very close to driver side door. I had to open it using the key few times and it starts honking and illuminating hazards and I managed to silent her by press unlock button while inside the car. But after first time it works as nothing happened and remote functions for fair distance. Do you guys have any idea regarding this? Thanks in advance.

That means I have to confirm within 3 days! And I have contacted 4 dealers who import vehicles from Japan... But none of them did not seem to have even a clue about axela. They are experts of axios and premios but when I mention axela ,aaaa is the first reply I got from 3 of them. Went cover to cover in HitAd , but only one importer even mentioned Axela and when I call them they only know about Hybrid version!!!! My questions are: 1)Is this quoted price is reasonable? 2)Will I be able to go for more options if I go for JDM? 3) If I import vehicle without through the agent-[obviously JDM] how much will I be able to save?Is it worth? 4)Advice regarding buy from the agents or buy a JDM through a usual importer.Which one will be wiser? Thanks in advance.
  12. Hi everyone, I own a 2007 Mazda 3 and i love it. It handles well and fun to drive. And it seems there are many hidden features in this car that is fun to discover. The first one i found is the Trip Computer which was hidden in my car., and i unlocked it with the help of this thread: http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/4873-unlocking-the-trip-computer-in-mazda-3/ and thanks Dinu for the tip. few days ago i was searching YouTube on how to replace the cabin air filter., i came across with this video: According to the video., we can do some cool tricks with the audio system by pressing combinations of two buttons simultaneously. Power button + Media button --> changes the temperature unit between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Power button + Up Seek button --> causes all the letters/digits in the information display to come on Power button + Clock button --> according to the video, this kind of locks the keypad. but in my case, apart from locking the keypad, it shows the name of the key when i press a key. for an example, when i press the Media button in this mode, the display shows "Media". Power button + 2 (RANDOM) button --> gives a signal-strength meter of the current radio frequency. Power button + Tuning button --> causes the sound to go around in circles, one speaker at a time. this is the coolest feature and i always confuse my friends with this. By holding the Audio Control button for 2-3 seconds, you can clear all the previous audio settings (Bass, Treble, Fade, Balance) and set everything to 0. Hope this information is helpful and if you guys know any other cool-hidden features of any car, please share.. Enjoy..
  13. Hi All, I’m interested in buying the new Mazda 3/Axela (face lifted version) or Lancer Ex. Would be grateful if any one of you are having experience in these 2 car can comment on them. I’ve used a Mazda falimia BG3P as my previous car but do not have any idea about the new car. I’m interested in Fuel consumption Maintainability Common issues that I should aware of like the ABS sensor issue in Lancer Ex. What should I look for when buying a one I’ve read the forum threads in AL on 2 cars, bud did not found match info on the Mazda 3, but found plenty on Lancer ex. I’m not too worried about the fuel consumption, but it should return a decent figure (at lease 9-10 in city driving). One of my office colleagues relative has a Mazda 3 and he says it is not good on fuel. It give around 7-8 kmpl in city. I want to know whether it is same for all the new Mazda 3 (Axela) cars or is it just this one. My budget is around 3.5 mil. And any other options available are also welcome. Thanks in advance.
