  1. My FZ-S V1 bike is miss fired when engine is hot. After engine is off little while, it again works few minutes. At that time self start also not works and idle is not work. Then I changed spark plug and cleaned carbulator. But issue is same. Can anyone give me a solution for that issue, is it electric problem? Can I know the place where ai can check my CDI unit near Matara town?
  2. Dear Friends If I'm not using Idle Start-Stop function of 2017 Japanese Alto, can I use a normal battery instead of a battery specially manufactured for "Start-Stop". Thanks in advance.

  4. @DavyHi Mr.Davy. I have a lancer cs1 gl 2007. I came across this iac valve problem and bought a reconditioned iac valve and fixed it. But I the problem is not solved still. 1) engine is set to 1100rpm to not make the engine stall when ac on. 2) Even thou its in 1100rpm still the ac cutoff cuts off the ac cuz of the low rpm created when on the ac 3) I am not sure but I feel my ac gives more stress than other cars cuz we need to press the accelerator twice more u press it before! So please can u help me out with this. @Sampath nalinda Gunasekara recommended about u. Thank You!

I have a nissan FB 15 2002 car and couples of days before i faced a problem that when car is in idle position with D or R in gear with A/C car is stalling (like in the traffic) bt it's not happaning with the N or P and i replaced all 4 plugs,Air filter and i serviced injector nozzles as well bt problem is still remaining bt when driving in high RPM and when A/C off it's not hapanning..so guys please help me,this is such a annoying thing 4 me?

  7. Hi Friends, My car battery dead and my father removed it and went to shop with old battery and bought new one and replace it. But now My car RPM totally wrong, And idea why is that?   8. Hi all, toyota yaris 2006 car shakes and rpm varies while idle.car was checked by carchecks before two weeks and there were no any major issues like in timing chain,ecu. what is the possible cause and cost? awaiting your comments thanks
  9. fixing Idle up vacuum relay (DIY) (This is only relevant for older vehicles which does not have ECU or can drive through an EMP Attack ) When the AC is turned on the engine RPM should raise a bit to cater for the load it gets. To do so a vacuum line coming from alternator is connected to a mechanical suction unit (idle up switch). It pulls the accelerator cable so that the RPM increases. When AC compressor turns off the electrical relay valve cut off the vacuum suction to get the engine back to it's normal idle RPM. The guy who fixed the Idle up switch to my jeep has forgotten the relay. So it always gave a high RPM at idle. I had to fix the cut off relay for that. Below is the pics of those two units.   10. Need help from experts & owners who experienced same situation before. My car is Kia Rio(2003 model) Continuous rattling noise came from engine bay from compressor and it was compressor clutch plate. As suggested by A/C technician I replaced, 1.Compressor clutch plate 2.Pulley assembly 3.Bearing 4.A/C hose (since there was a leak-confirmed by dye test) 5.Filled gas Now I've noticed that the AC will no longer blow cold air if I've been idling too long (either parked, sitting in traffic, at a long traffic light, etc.) Once I start driving again, it cools back down like normal. Now technician is suggesting me to replace compressor which will cost me 17,500/- (reconditioned), 34,000/- (brand new) Already I've spent 12,000/- regarding this issue. Now i'm bit confused and seeking some advice on 'what to do' ?
  11. My car is honda ek3 1999 brand new model. when after the AC is started idle goes down to 400 when switch off its gets normal. Cleaned TB Checked Idle up valve Change petrol filter Done Injector clean Changed Air filter Done all things which have mentioned in Topic Ek3 idle fluctuating issue Is this can happen coz of Alternator Coz i had a issue with alternator and replaced it from dual carb engine alternator Battery Charging sytem is k but idle goes down when AC is started Help me ask me for clarification
  12. regarding the post Ek3 idle drop down to 400 i have wasted much more money in this case so before change the alternator again is there any one to change and see really the alternator gives the problem car is ek3 99 brand new one and 3 pin( Oval shape pin) alternator
  13. Hi folks, I was driving yesterday and stopped the car to pump petrol. After that was driving for about 1 minute and suddenly felt a jerk when shifting gears (in every gear shift). I noticed that the RPM drops to 0 when I shift gears , that is letting go off the Accelerator and press the clutch and shift the gear. The jerk happens because the engine is stopped and it then starts again as I put it to gear (Just like a push start). After few minutes of high RPM driving the issue was gone but after stopping the car and starting again the car stalled, had to keep the foot on accelerator to keep the car from stalling, then it was ok. So this basically happens time to time. The car is a FB13 with a Carburetor. This is the first time the problem occured but it had the following issues. * Car had a small miss and the idling was a bit rough. * Recently the idle up mechanism refused to work when I switch on AC or lights. So as a fix the makabass increased the idle RPM a bit because he was lazy to do a full diagnosis or a tuneup. * Have to press accelerator to start the cold engine but the Car starts fine when the engine is hot enough. ** Car misses violently when pressing and letting go of the brake only when the car is idle. We checked the brake booster and it was good, no vacuum leaks. Please note that the fuel filter and the air filter is only 200Kms old Could anyone help to identlfy the issue before taking the car to a garage ? Will have to wait for the next weekend for it. UPDATE Hi Guys! Wanted to update you on this topic, I went to a popular place in Seeduwa (a race driver *wink*) that was mentioned in the forum and got the carburetor repair done with mixed feelings, While the engine is smoother than before I still have few niggles. It still has a miss which occurs when suddenly releasing the accelerator while driving in a high gear (like 2nd ,3rd ), When this happens the car jerks a lot.This was there even before the repair and still not fixed, Note that this occurs rarely. I mentioned this to the "Bass" and his response was junk. He was saying like " Okkoma hadanna ba parana wahanane, duwanna puluwan widiyata hadaagana thiyenne" Which I think is BS. Most of the items from the repair kit was unused, and only a part of the carb was disassembled and cleaned. So I think it is a reason for the above issue. And I was expecting him to inspect water from the tail pipe and tune the carb as others have mentioned in the forum which he never did. Though I was charged close to 4K for labor
