  1. I need my lancer box car to convert in to Electric power steering system. Where can i do it and how much does it cost roughly?
  2. I have 2016 Vitz ksp130 and I bought it recently. An engine tune up was recommended by Sterling so I went for it. I was butter-smooth before I handed over to them. They done an engine tune up and a full service. As soon as I start driving I noticed a stiffness in steering wheel and I informed them right away. They checked again with a scanner but there were no issues found. Since it was butter-smooth before, now I can feel it well. 😐 Any idea why this is occurred? 🤔 Wheels are aligned after this. but issue still exists Tire pressure checked. No error visible for the scanners. Checked from multiple places PS: I am a noob in automotive industry 😶
  3. Dear Experts, I purchased a 2008 nissan tiida few months back, 2nd owner car with all the records and the vehicle user manual. This is a CVT model. I've been experiencing a strange power steering malfunction ever since. (This has Electric Power Steering). As soon as I purchased the car I did all the required suspension repairs from my mechanic as well. Now coming to the issue, When I start driving the power steering works fine and the steering feels light. (But it is anyway kind of stiff in the middle position which I did not experience driving other cars with EPS, such as Honda Fit,) But after driving for about half an hour the steering gets stiff and does not return after a turn at all which kind of really annoying and I have to straight the steering by force. When the journey is done and the car is stopped, (means if I drive it again after maybe an hour, not right away) the steering starts to feel light again and steering return functions is also better. And again the same thing happens after sometime. Any expertise advise on this issue from veterans and tiida users? I chose tiida for better cabin room than others in it's class, if this is an unsolvable issue should I look for an alternative car? Thanks. Casanova.
  4. Hi everyone, Is there anyone here have the knowledge of doing a electric power steering (EPS) conversion on a classic car ? The issue is, in a normal ca, the EPS ECU adjusts the power assist according to the vehicle speed. Higher assistance at lower speeds (like in a parking lot) and lower assistance in high speed (like in highway cruise). This is done by the CAN BUS system in the car feeding the vehicle speed tk the EPS ECU. But its obvious that classics dont have them and it needs a work around. There are modules available to buy in ebay that you can adjust the assist at you desire and not automatic. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F142461763061 However, what I am looking is for a workaround that feeds the EPS ECU with vehicle speed and do it automatically. If a EPS unit is used from a non-ABS vehicle and if there is a way to feed the EPS ECU with vegicle speed with a vehicle speed sensor throigh some sort of a programme (Arduino, maybe ?) this can be achieved. Anyone here have knowledge of such ?
