    Noise from rear when breaking

Car: Viva Elite Ezi Problem: When I apply brakes from speed around 50kmph I get a noise from the rear. The noise starts like 'taka taka taka..... takkk.. takkk.. tak..'. It's exactly like putting some plastic item inside an empty mega bottle and shaking it well and then gradually reducing the speed of shaking. That's the closest sound I can describe it. But when I deep press the break or intermittently press the brake the noise does not come much. While driving I cannot exactly locate from where the noise comes, but it seems to me from the boot of the car. And there is nothing in the boot except the tools and the jack both of which are positioned unable to move. What I did: I went to UniMo Hyde park yesterday and they changed the brake washer plus brake oil (Rs.4750). But the noise has not changed much since. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

    Suzuki Alto Brake Problem

Hi all, I bought a 2002 Japanese Alto 1 month back. This car was alright until yesterday night when I had to panic break to avoid a collision. I was travelling at around 40 kmph and the vehicle skid when I applied break. It felt like all the wheels locked up and the vehicle slid about 2 meters. The steering didn't work at this time. However, the car performs okay during slow breaking. Did any of you guys face this problem?? If so, how do you solve this. FYI, the ABS light doesn't come on in the dashboard.
  4. Hi All, I have a L200 252-xxxx model and I did break system maintenance recently. Maintenance include front break repair kit addition, back break washer replacing and cleaning break drums. Also there are no leaks in the break lines. My vehicle's tyre size is 205/60/15. Also it's front front tyres are new and back tyres are bit old. I have attached photos of them. Recently I got in to a accident where the vehicle going in front got stopped due to gear box failure and I hit it from the back. I use breaks as much as I can and I heard the sound of wheels slipping on the road while break is locked. I know this happens because it doesn't have ABS and friction power is not enough to stop the vehicle. There is a part which need to be done by the driver. If we keep that part aside, What I want to know is, are there any improvements which can be done to reduce this slipping. Increasing the tyre size? Possible sizes? Adding new break pads, liners? Thanks!

    Break Issue

Hi all, My car is a suzuki swift and has ABS ( M/T) last week when I was slow moving traffic ( so regularly clutch / break / Stop / Go on 1 st gear ) i had below issue few occasions I felt that the Break is very hevy to push all the way down and break not apply correctly. Also on a small hill, it happened and actually Car roll back little more although I pushed the break , Then I pulled the hand break and stop the vehicle, 1) Is this normal for ABS when use clutch more offen ? ( Note: Sometime clutch cannot completely release because traffic is moving very slowly) Or 2) Any fault with breaking system ? ( However break fluid fine and no dashboard indicators for warning) Thanks for all
