Hi, Hope you guys are having a good start of the week. I have a budget of 3-3.5 mil. I searched through some ad postings and narrowed down a list of vehicles which I like and fit within my budget. Nissan Primera 2002 (178,500 km) Hyundai Santa Fe 2004 (118,800 km) Suzuki Grand Vitara 2005 [2 door] (175,000 km) Mitsubishi Galant Super Saloon 2003 (131,000 km) I want to know, If these vehicles are worth for that budget? Is it easy to maintain / find parts? (I've had bad experiences in the past not being able to easily find parts for my previous vehicle so I'm really concerned about this) I'm leaning more towards the Grand Vitara or the Santa Fe since I like SUV types. Which one would be the better option out of the two? Or would you recommend any other new suggestions? This would be my second vehicle. I work in a hybrid setting so I don't usually drive everyday. Typical mileage per month would be between 450-500 Km. Fuel consumption around 10Km/liter would be acceptable (But this is a low priority focus since like I mentioned, I don't drive daily). I'd greatly appreciate your input. Thank you.

I need a 7 seater SUV for 3.5 million which has a good fuel economy. (diesel) I could only find that Hyundai Santa Fe 2007/2008 will help all my requirements but all the vehicles available have crossed 100,000kms on the clock and I heard the engine needs to be overhauled after reaching 100k and the second-hand market is horrible too. The main reason I need a 7 seater is that there are 6 people in my family and we mostly travel together. I also have thought of buying something like an x-trail or rav4 2007ish and ride with the family by turning down the back seats or I heard that a seat can be installed as a 7 seater on a Facebook post. I could only find old posts about this from 2013 on this website so please help me. Thanks in advance, Somasiri

Hello guys, I want to know the fuel consumption of Santa Fe 2008/9/10 and 2011 (both petrol and diesel) I heard it does 10 on diesel and 8 on petrol, that true? and I wonder if it is a bad vehicle to buy in 2019 cus I heard all the Santa fes have gone through an engine overhaul by 60 000kms (diesel ones - did petrol vehicle engines got overhauled too?)

Dear all, I have an issue with my Hyundai Santa Fe 2011 (Diesel/Manual/4x4). It has now done 20,000Km without problems. 4th service has been done recently in the company at 20,000Km. This time the mechanic told that there is a kind of hardness in the clutch pedal. What he is suspecting is that the pressure plates which has got tougher due to running in the heavy traffic mostly on the clutch. There are no any other problems such as hardness in shifting gears, dropping gears whatsoever. It’s just the hard clutch pedal. Now I am thinking whether to let the company to work on it which is a sort of big work which they need 2+ days or just ignore it and keep drive. Mechanic says this is not a common problem for this vehicle and it can happen due to a manufacturing fault or else due to wear away. It will be fixed totally free if it is found a manufacturing fault or will cost a lot to fix it by the company if it found a running repair. Is this a serious issue? Please give me your ideas/experience on this. Thanks.
