hi, my car Nissan fb15 2000 model having starting problem time to time, some time its engine cranking but not starting, that time i realize when ignition switch on initially fuel pump not working to initial start up this fault is intermittent i gave direct power supply from fuse bord to the fuel pump for couple of second to run the pump for initial start up then start its starting, any body having any idea about it. is it problem with ECM, thanks very much.

Hiii Is it possible to repair High pressure pump ? if so can you pls recommend someone who can do it? And also if i need to buy a 2nd hand high pressure pump for a reasonable price, pls recommend a place to purchase. Thanks

Hi All, Though I'm a member of this forum for sometime, this is the first time I'm writing a post. I need your kind help with this. First of all, thanks all for the valuable content you create in this forum. I settled for a Mazda Demio 7 months ago thanks to the posts I found here. I'm quite happy with the car so far. This car is maintained by the agents and used only brand new Mazda genuine parts so far. I decided to continue the same and done all the services with the agents. Then came this problem. I need your kind advise before I commit to fix this with agents. For few weeks, it takes time to start the car when the car is cooled down. I got this checked by the agents. They said the issue is caused by the faulty fuel pump and I have to replace it which costs Rs. 52,000/= + tax + labor to fix. Since I'm not an expert of the internal bits of the car, I need to know, 1. If it is a possibility that faulty fuel pump can cause this kind of a problem? 2. Is it a good idea to use a used original fuel pump? (forgetting the maintenance tradition. I'm not as rich as the previous owner ) Thanks in advance.

Hi, I recently bought an old Peugeot 305 GL and it has few issues I want your help with. 01. The engine bay is filled and cluttered with hoses of the LPG unit. I see hoses running into inlet manifold and some to the carb. Yesterday I tried to remove some of the hoses of LPG Vaporizer unit and there was coolent coming out from it, I refitted the hose and I wanna remove all the items of gas unit as I dont wish to use it. I wanna keep this car running entirely on petrol. These parts and hoses of LPG unit kinda getting in the way when I want to check the engine and its very confusing. And having this unit is an additional weight. How can I remove all these parts? how can I identify them? I can post pics of the entire engine bay or how many different hoses of LPG unit connect to different places. Someone pls help me. 02. The car is very sluggish to start. I cranked with the carb petrol feed line removed and it doesnt pump petrol. However, with the carb feed petrol line connected to carb and if I pour some petrol in to the carb, car starts. But the start doesnt hold on always. If I rev the engine it stops, Sometimes it revs very well. So I am very much sure that the petrol pump not working properly. It works at times and goes dead sometimes so I cannot start at all.. Sometimes after pouring petrol into carb, the at low revs the engine tries to stop but if you increase revs or accelerate, engine goes running very well. Just like the low pressure or whatsoever applied to pump isnt enough at low revs and it gets adequate at high revs. Sometimes I may be able to fix the existing pump but I bought a new French pump anyways. I want a trouble free continuous flow of petrol into carb. The issue is, all these LPG hoses, brake oil servo at right side do not allow me to reach the fuel pump.. I need your expert views on these.. Thanks!

Hi All, I'm trying to locate a GDI Fuel Pump for 4G93 Turbo engine. If the GDI is from an IO I need the pipe assembly that comes to the pump. If its from a Cedia, only the pump is sufficient. So far my search has led me to a person called Pejro Mahinda in panchikawatta, who has some pumps which are expensive. I would like to know any other places that might have this available. Thanks, Y3K
