  1. I am currently having a Modified Lancer CS1 which is mounted a 4G13 1.3L (original) stock engine. Whether the car has modified with body kits and stuffs, still I need to swap the engine to 2.0L Turbo one and increase the performance and it's power little bit (as possible as I can). I heard that, we can swap 4G13 to 4G94 which is 2.0L engine. But I need to clear that whether it is possible or if is there any engine I can look for that particular swap. And, is it possible to swap my car engine to 4G63? Thanks.
  2. Guys, really appreciate your valuable inputs to help me make a decision. This is my dilemma. I have a 1995 honda civic ek3 VI manual. This is my first car and has been with me for the last 4 years. My and this car have had a good run so far. Needless to say, being a 23 year old car, there are episodic minor repairs which are getting a bit frequent, but nothing major. Within the next few months, I am to receive some cash, and I would be able to spend about 0.5 to 1 million for an upgrade, the lesser the cost, the better, obviously. I guess I could sell this one and go for a bit newer car. But as I said, me and this car have been through a lot together, and even the thought of parting with it is very difficult to handle. So here are my questions. 1. Would going for a performance upgrade for this car be a bad idea? I did some reading and seems a B16A2 swap is possible and that it would cost somewhere close to 5 laks (I am not sure about these values). I am a total noob at these stuff, and would like to know if this is worth the cost. 2. If such an upgrade is possible, what are my options? Are there better options than the B16A swap? What would be the cost? 3. If such an upgrade is not advisable, what would be a good replacement around 3mil? It needs to be a sedan and a manual transmission, and I would like to have a bit of power as well. The options I came up with were Honda civic ES3rs, lancer cs2/3, masda axela/3 and am having trouble deciding what would be better. Are there any other good options? So, I kindly request the help of the experts here, who have helped me in the past as well. Thanks in advance! Ps. Sorry if I am starting an unnecessary thread, couldn't find answers to some of my issues after going through several threads as well.
  3. Engine Swap - Volvo S40 Turbo Diesel YOM-2000 (Project Volley - Volley the Naughty Forty) Previous discussion though below link. My sleeping beauty is about to wake up. After waiting for months and months, this is the right time to start the Project Volley. Volley kept silence for about 2 – 3 years at the rear end of the garage. After many ideas, plans, decided to import a used engine with gear box from U.K. My heartiest thanks to Moderator ‘The Don’ whom did spend many hours for seeking a suitable low mileage engine for months and months and helping me form the beginning. Finally engine reached here safely and ready to swap.
  4. I'm thinking of swapping my Toyota Trueno's 5A-F carb engine for an engine with more HP. She is my daily so I want her to be reliable as well. Please suggest me a good engine along with their pros and cons. I need the engine 1. To be from Toyota 2. To fit into the existing mounts, without any fabrication of the firewall 3. To have E.F.I. 4. To be available in SL with their gearbox, wire harness and E.C.U., for a reasonable price 5. Not to screw-up the weight distribution of the car Currently considering 4age (black-top, silver-top), 4agze (heard it's a bit rare), 4efte, 3sge, 3sgte (not sure whether these will fit an FWD) Thanks in advance
