Hi guys, I have been using this forum for a while but this is my first post. I did an engine tune up on my suzuki swift HT51s model two days ago. The mechanic replaced the plugs. Everything was fine until yesterday morning. The car started but the RPM needle quickly comes down to zero and the engine stops. I accelerated the car to make sure the needle does not drops but when I release the accelerator peddle the engine shuts down. After couple of attempts the engine starts and runs as usual. I felt this today morning as well. What could be the problem? Thank you in advance.

Dear experts, I am planning on doing an Engine tune up and spark plug replacement this weekend for my Starlet EP91 ( fuel consumption too high). Please suggest good places I can get it done. Name of place, location and if possible how much it will cost me generally. Thanks.

Hi Guys, Nowadays, most of the cars have EFI engines and we talk about tuning up the engine. Unlike carburator engines EFIs has little to maneuver because most of the engine parameters are controlled by the ECU. including engine RPM. ignition timiing, injector timing etc. my question is, when we handover the car to agents/mechanic for an engine tune up, what do they actually look for and adjust apart from replacing/cleaning fuel system components (eg. change air/fuel filter, TH body clean, replace plugs etc) Agents add value for engine tune up in addition to part replacement. what are actually changed in this tune up? The underside of my car (vios) bonet, there is a manufacture's stiker saying "plugs clearence :this much; valve clearence: this much; no further tune up needed"
