Dear My AL Friends I post this question after search 1000 times in AL as well as internet.But not satisfactory answer yet. Hope AL expert can solve it. My car DVD/TV Setup (Chinese one that previous owner install) works fine up to month after purchased. But setup display( audio working) not it not working in cold start( it mean once after 1 or 2 after car stopped).when after i drove 20 mins, it's working again. I using car only on week ends. Because of that i sightly understand battery drain little bit ( Start also not soft as first). My Question is 1. For DVD player display problem is because of due battery issue.? Can it would be happen due battery drain or any other issue related to Display...? Your valuable answers are highly appreciate

Hello Mates, Recently my brother bought a car (Toyota Premio) and it has few scratches on plastic panels,doors (bottom near the seats. Gray color Plastic panels, door handle etc..) 01. Does anyone know how to remove them or is it possible to touch up them using specific paint ? 02. Is there any place to fix them ? PS - have searched on Autolanka, but I didn't found solution. Hey guys..im a newbie to auto lanka forum as well as to vehicles..so bare my lack of knowledge in this area...I did some searching about cars for my above budget and came up with few choices..but I need further guidance from experienced..so I came here ... anyway..my budget is between 1.3M - 1.4M as topic says..i would prefer a saloon type basically to travel with my family..Car will not be my daily driver for work..and mostly I will be using it for journeys and other occasions..(I'm letting you know these details so you can have a better idea what kind of fuel economy would be good for me)... Hi Guys, If you are using a cool box (Not the one came with the car) could you share the details. It seems they use at least 3 AMP or higher continuously to keep cooling. When it is being used, Do we need to keep the engine running to provide the power needed?because otherwise the battery will be drained. Do you get 0 °C (Zero) and how long does it take to get zero? I heard that there is a petrol tank oil filter in the cars. So when I should change the petrol tank oil filter? I mean millage? Is there a way to check whether petrol tank oil filter is good or bad? What are the indications that we have to change the oil filter?

I am in the market for a new vehicle and was looking at the Vezel (I know i know!) However after giving it some thought, seeing how the hybrid tax has gone up and reading some advice on AL I thought I should ask for suggestions from the experts. I saw someone list used BMWs as a better option than the Vezel and so I thought of giving it a go. My motive is to get a newer car so I face fewer repairs. I only sold my older car (Civic 2003) because I was tired of repairing it every 4-6 months. I saw a couple of beemers advertised on AL. I saw some E60 520D 2006 facelift models which look nice, however a friend told me to steer clear of the diesel engines because they have a lot of maintenance involved and SL has poor quality diesel. Can someone shed some light on this? What sort of repairs can I expect from a 2006 model? I also heard that servicing a beemer costs 35k+, but they have some long lasting oil so the service is done at a longer interval than regular car. Is there any truth to this? I also want to know how the resale is like for beemers, because with any car you expect to resell it after sometime. How much could I sell this model for after about 3-5 years? If you think I should go for another car (that is available for purchase on the AL site) for this budget please feel free to let me know. I sold my car recently and I am stuck without a vehicle. I guess it was for the best, because if I had rushed I would have probably ended up with a Vezel.

Any one knows good place to Repair my Hyundai car repair near Colombo ?

Is there a way to open car door without the smart key near it. I kept my smart key inside the house and tried to open the door with the normal-key i got with my smart key. The door opened but suddenly the security alarms started ringing, i had to use my smart key's unlock button to disarm the security alarm. My issue is if my smart-key's battery drains out how will i be able to open the door with the normal-key? Will it activate the alarm's once again? And what is the use of having that normal-key if i can't open the door without activating the security alarm? Your advises are highly appreciated. Thanks
