  1. Are there any use of used tyres? Are there any places to buy used tyres from us? P.s. I don't want to buy used tyres. Today I replaced my car tyres with b/n tyres and I want to know are there any use of my old tyres
  2. I have been looking for 225/40R19 tires everywhere in Sri lanka (Contacted all the agents and the big wheel places like JJ Lanka / U&H). Unfortunately nobody has it and the closest they can offer are the following which are not really suitable. i.e. 245/40(Too Wide for 7.5J Rim) & 225/45 (Too bigger change in Overall Diameter). Toyo agents (the brand that i am currently running) earlier quoted a price of about 36k for a tire but now they are refusing to import and the others were not that willing as well. So i have resigned to the fact that i would have to import the tires and go through the hassle of clearing it from customs. I have come across a few options. 1. From Japan via Freight 2. From USA via Amazon to a local address and then ship from there to SL. What are the pros/cons between the 2 options and personally importing tires? Are there any difference in the tires based on the origin and targeted condtions? Are there any restriction as to shipping those items out ? Do you know any other alternatives ? Thanks.
  3. Guys, I had 165/70-R14 Goodyear tire (stock tires) in my AK12. I have recently replaced both front tires and replaced with 185/70-R14 MAXXIS tires. The shop owner asked me to have a wheel balancing after replacing tires. I drove in the expressway and felt that my car was consuming more fuel than previous times. Could anyone tell me the relationship between increasing of the tire size, wheel balancing and fuel consumption. Thanks.

Option 1 Hassle Free (Cost Effective) Method STAGE 1 : CHANGE YOUR SPEAKERS STAGE 2 : Change your Head Unit STAGE 3 : Add A Powered Sub Option 2 Allot of wiring, extra costs, cutting and the use of dedicated amplifies and non active sub woofers STAGE 1 : Throw your Head unit and Buy A DVD MULTIMEDIA RECEIVER STAGE 2 : ADD a 4 Channel Amplifier. (Under Seat or in the Rear Storage compartment space) STAGE 3 : Get the System wired. Select Wire Kits, Special Fuse, Remove seats and tear ur car apart temporarily. Spend on interconnects and premium high gauge wiring too STAGE 4 : Now you need one or more Subwoofers. Decide monochannel amplifier, 2 channel bridge , 4 channel bridge and then be confused. 6. One of my friend wants to get down 4 tires from eBay which he says cannot find the tire size in Sri Lanka. Do you have any experience in getting down tires with eBay? any duties/taxes involved? Thanks
  7. Hi, Edges of my both front tires are worn beyond recovery (due to my ignorance ) and I need to get new tires. Currently I have GT radial 185/70 R14 and I'm thinking of going for Bridgestone Turanza AR10 of same size and it costs about 12500 a tire. I have a CE110 and daily run on both good and bad (with potholes) roads. So I need feedback from you guys about these tires or better alternatives in the same price bracket. Please note I cannot afford anything higher My main concerns are wet and dry handling and a long life (though they look like mutually exclusive). Also my rear tires GT 185/70 R14 has about half the treads remaining. Looks like they can go for atleast another 20K without any issue. So how much can I get if I trade them in ?
